A phone mount is a system: the bike attachment, the phone connection and the space around both. Check all three before ordering.
1. Choose the attachment point
Measure the usable handlebar area and compare it with the mount’s listed diameter range. Bikes with clip-ons, crowded controls or limited straight bar space may need another mounting type. Do not assume a handlebar mount fits every street bike.
2. Match the phone connection
Confirm that a compatible case exists for your exact phone model, or read the adaptor requirements. Check which parts are included. A mount listing does not necessarily include a phone case, vibration accessory or charger.
3. Check clearance
Plan the position with the bike parked. Turn the handlebars fully in both directions and check clearance to the tank, windscreen, cables and controls. The phone must not obstruct your instruments or interfere with steering.
4. Consider vibration and weather
Read your phone manufacturer’s guidance about motorcycle vibration. Quad Lock offers a compatible vibration-damping accessory, but no mounting accessory guarantees that a phone cannot be damaged. Check weather protection and charging requirements separately.
Before the ride
Install according to the mount manufacturer’s instructions, confirm the locking connection and secure charging cables. Set the route while parked; stop safely before adjusting the phone.
